Le Moulin

Le Moulin is an old stone house with an attached ancient watermill full of character and charm. The house was once used for storing grain and flour but has since been lovingly restored to a high standard, with its spacious interior accommodating 4 people.

The large covered terrace at the front of the moulin offers a welcoming shady area to sit with a glass of red wine and soak up the ambience. The 6 x 12 metre swimming pool is only few meters away.

Set in 4.5 hectares of private grounds, with a beautiful stream running through, the garden has magnificent views across countryside, surrounding woodland and the lake. Here at the Etang Grolhier (Lake Grolhier) it is not a rare sight to observe cranes or other migratory birds flying high in the sky and often stopping on their way north or south, depending on the season. Other specialties include night-time views of the sky, when was the last time you saw the milky way?

Living /dining room
10 x 5m. Large dining table for 6-8 people, sofas and a bar with bar stools . Terracotta tiled floor and exposed original oak beams.
Also local artists impressions of the house and the mill painted on the wall. French doors to large covered terrace (10 x 6m), with barbeque and wooden tables.

Kitchen:
5 x 5m. Modern fitted units with all usual appliances. Original stone fireplace with a log burning stove. Breakfast table for 4 people. Window seat. Tiled floor and exposed oak beams. Dishwasher, electric oven with gas rings, fridge-freezer, microwave oven, kettle and toaster.

Bedroom 1:
5 x 7m. Very large family bedroom with a double bed, settee, table and a chair, walk in wardrobe. Shower. Wooden floor, exposed beams. View to the lake.

Bedroom 2:
4 x 4m. Bedroom with 2 single beds, original oak floor, exposed beams and view to the lake.

Bathroom:
2 x 3m. Tiled floor, bath with hand shower, toilet and basin. Shower unit in the main bedroom.
